The Canadian Wildlife Conservation Stamp Program

Every year, twelve pieces of art are published in the form of a collectable stamp. Each Canadian Province and Territroy (with the exception of Quebec) is individually represented by a painting of wildlife found within its borders. A selection of stamp art is chosen to be reproduced as limited edition prints. These prints are signed and numbered by the artists and are available for collectors. This publishing program was initiated by Sherman Hines for the purpose of raising money for various conservations organizations. These conservations prints are available to groups to raise funds for programs and courses that are a benefit to wildlife, wildlife habitat and the adminstration of wildlife programs within Canada.

David J Perkins has produced many pieces that have featured on the conservation stamps of the years and a selection of these are available below, sorted into the years they were produced.
